Reflect on one’s life:

석파랑아트홀 "Reflect 몽·死·自·하루·섬·ㅋㅋ·류"전에서는 김현수, 박형주, 손인선, 이주은, 장신정, 장진경, 차소림 7인의 작가가 자신의 삶 속에서 만나는 관심의 대상을 개인의 관점을 통해 관찰하고 비추어 보면서 풀어낸 이야기를 담았다. “Reflect - 삶을 관조하다”라는 공통된 행위를 중심으로 '몽 死自 하루 섬 ㅋㅋ 류'라는 개별 코드를 제시한다. 몽: 시공을 넘나드는 꿈을 꾸고, 死: 죽음을 통해 삶의 본질을 살피며, 自: 스스로 관계하여 구축되어지고, 하루 속 ‘지금, 여기’에 집중하며, 섬을 마주하고, ㅋㅋ: 놀이와 해학을 담아내고, 류: 단절이 아닌 연결되어 흐르는 풍경을 그린다.

예술행위 과정에서 힘의 논리에 의해 이행되어지는 억압과 규제가 개인과 관계 되어지는 지점을 관조한다. 사회화 과정에서 정형화되고 굳어진 관념의 틀에 순응해보지만 끊임없이 반복적으로 나를 찌르는 대상을 만나게 된다. 이를 인지하고 직시한다. 소외당하기보다는 인정과 칭찬을 받으며 무리 속에서 생존하고자 외면한 ‘나’를 회생시키기 위해 작가 개인의 관점으로 세상을 관찰하고 비추어 본다.

<Reflect>전 작가 7인은 각자의 대상을 나름의 방식으로 해체시키고 자신의 언어로 풀어 어느 누구도 침범하지 않는 작가의 방에서 자신만의 독특한 세계를 펼친다. 일상의 관계 맺음으로 일어나는 충돌들을 예술이라는 감각적 행위로 승화시키는 과정에서 버려두었던 ‘나’를 찾고 미시적이며 동시에 거시적인 시각과 사고를 넘나들며 ‘나’로서 살아가는 삶을 탐닉해본다.

Focusing on the common act of "Reflect - contemplating life," we present a separate code called <Dream · Death · Day · Island · lol · Flow>

Dream: Dreaming across time and space

Death: Examining the nature of life through death

Self: Built in self-relationship,

Day:focusing on 'now, here' in the day

Island: Facing the island,

lol: Containing play and humor

Flow: Draws a connected landscape which is not seperated.

It examines the point where oppression and regulation implemented by the logic of power in the process of artistic action are related to the individual. In the process of socialization, I adapt to the formalized and hardened framework of ideas, but I constantly encounter an object that stabs me repeatedly. Recognize this and face it. Rather than being alienated, I observe and shine on the world from the perspective of the artist's individual in order to revive myself, who turned away to survive in the group with recognition and praise.

[REFLECT Dream·Death·Self·Day·Island·lol·Flow] The seven artists dismantle each object in their own way and solve it in their own language to create their own unique world in the artist's room that no one invades. In the process of sublimating the conflicts caused by the establishment of daily relationships into a sensory act of art, find the "I" that was abandoned and indulge in life as "I" across microscopic and macroscopic perspectives and thoughts at the same time.
